Each petal and leaf is individually cut by hand. I then fuse separate layers of petals and leaves together, using 6 petals and multiple leaves for the bottom layer, and 3 petals for the top layer. Next, I drape each layer over a form in the kiln to give it shape, and then assemble the flower, adding yellow glass balls in the center as a finishing touch.
The flower sits on a lighted base. The base has a rechargeable battery which is charged with a USB cord. It also comes with a remote that lets you change colors and light patterns.
Each one is handmade and individually crafted. They utilize different colors of glass and beads in the center. No two are exactly alike.
