Two pieces of glass are fused together, preserving a channel to hold lamp oil. Separately, I create the individual elements that decorate the lamp like the fish, starfish, and bubbles.
Once the pocket has been created, the decorative elements are attached to the lamp in an additional trip to the kiln.
The lamp comes with a metal stand and a fiberglass wick threaded through a glass tube, which holds the wick in place.
Add lamp oil and light!
